Tim is the Business Improvement Manager for Foodmach in Echuca. He grew up in England and completed a Masters Degree in Integrated Engineering from Cardiff University.
Tim started his working life as an Industrial Engineer for a company manufacturing heavy forklift trucks in the sunny Welsh Valleys of the UK. It was here that he started his career in Production Management, taking control of the fabrication, paint and assembly areas whilst learning and applying Lean Manufacturing Principles. Tim moved to Australia in 2012 and found a Production Management position at an overhead gantry crane manufacturer in Melbourne. This role allowed him to build on his experience with leading teams of fabricators, electricians and fitters to manufacture bespoke capital equipment.
After 6 years working and living in Melbourne, Tim made the move to Echuca and following a short stint in the packaging manufacturing industry in Shepparton, Tim found a role at Foodmach. Here, he became the Operations Manager, responsible for the Operations side of the business, overseeing Logistics, Procurement, Spare Parts and everything to do with the manufacture of packaging machines including the installation at customer sites. More recently, Tim has changed disciplines and is responsible for Finance and Administration section of Foodmach and is heavily involved in improvement initiatives to continue to drive efficiencies through the company.
Tim is excited to apply his knowledge and experience to help C4EM continue to be a supporter of our local community.
