Oliver Boyd

Board Member

Oliver is a rural property valuer, specializing in the valuation of agricultural property and water rights. He is regarded as one of the foremost experts in Australia in the analysis of water markets and valuation of water assets.

He grew up on a fifth generation grazing and cereal cropping property north of Jerilderie and has developed an extensive knowledge of local communities and agricultural issues especially those currently facing our region.


With a Masters Degree in Business, Oliver is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, completing the course in 2016 and a Member of the Australian Property industry (since 2000).  He is a graduate of the 2017 Fairley Leadership program.

 

Oliver has been a Director of a large rural valuation business that employed more than 50 staff across several offices in northern Victoria, Tasmania and southern NSW. He now works for a large multi-national valuation firm heading up their northern Victorian and southern Riverina region team from an office in Echuca.

 

An active community leader Oliver is the current Deputy Chair of the Committee for Echuca Moama, member of the Goulburn Murray Water Leadership Forum and sits on the Meninya Street Advisory Committee. He also coaches junior cricket for Moama and is a junior football umpire.

 

Oliver is a tireless advocate for the advancement of the local community as well as an environmentally healthy and a productive local region.
