Jayden Howe
Chief Executive Officer
Jayden thrives on networking, learning from others, and bringing people, knowledge, and resources together to achieve shared goals. Jayden is deeply committed to strengthening all areas of the Echuca Moama community and believes that collective effort is key to creating lasting impact.
Originally from a farm in south-west Victoria near Warrnambool, Jayden moved to Ballarat in 2013 to study a Bachelor of Education (Physical Education) after taking a gap year. Following the completion of his degree, he began his teaching career at Kyabram P–12 College, where he worked for three years before relocating to Echuca to teach at St Joseph’s College. In 2021, Jayden was successful in securing the Community Engagement role at the newly established Echuca headspace Centre — an opportunity he has thoroughly enjoyed over the past four years.
Throughout his career, Jayden has held a range of leadership-focused roles. In education, these included classroom teacher, Year 9 co-ordinator, School Sport co-ordinator, School Council member at Kyabram P–12, VCE Exam Assessor, curriculum development contributor, and homeroom teacher. At headspace, he progressed to Community Development Team Lead and also backfilled the manager position for four months. Leadership is a core strength Jayden brings to all aspects of his work.
Outside of his professional life, Jayden enjoys fishing, sport, fitness, and spending time with family. He is also actively involved in the local sporting community as the Senior Football Coach of the Lockington Bamawm Football Netball Club — a role he describes as an exciting challenge within an incredible community.
