Jane Reid
C4EM Board Member
Jane is passionate about helping young people feel safe, valued and connected - with a strong focus on well being, belonging and opportunity. Born and raised in Rochester, Jane moved away to attend university before returning home to build her career and raise her family in the region she loves. Her strong connection to community was shaped early, particularly through the influence of her mum, who spent decades working as a nurse at Rochester & District Health Service and has always been deeply invested in supporting others.
Jane's working life spans education, training, OH&S, public relations and employment services. Before stepping into the Executive Officer role in December 2022, she worked as a Project Officer with CCLLEN and has also held roles with Echuca College, Campaspe College of Adult Education and Kyabram Community and Learning Centre. She has worked with Echuca Regional Health in both executive support and community liaison roles and has also run her own small business. Jane's strengths include building partnerships, strategic planning, community engagement, governance and compliance.
Outside of work, Jane is heavily involved in the community and local sport. She enjoys coaching netball and has held volunteer leadership roles, including being the past President and now Treasurer of Rochester Community House.
