C4EM welcomes new executive at AGM

Committee for Echuca Moama (C4EM) has welcomed Tim Ford as its new chair.

Tim was appointed after Dr Cath Lees stood down from the role at the organisation’s annual general meeting on November 19.

“I would like to thank Cath’s efforts in the past few years,’’ Tim said.  “She has developed some strong partnerships in the last 18 months, including joining Business NSW and helping Women of the Murray expand into Echuca. It is also exciting to see new members join us who will help us continue our momentum moving forward.”

Helping lead the board will be Courtney Mitchell who has taken on the deputy chair position. Courtney is a commercial strategy analyst at Australian Consolidated Milk.

Kylie Williams, senior management accountant at Arahura Farms, has taken over the treasurer position from Tim.

“Expanding our board to 12 at the start of the year has provided us with some dynamic and driven members, and I’m excited to see what we can achieve in the next 18 months,” Tim said.

‘We are currently planning our series of breakfast talks for 2026 and we will soon have some exciting updates on our CCTV project.”

New board members Jane Reid (executive officer Campaspe Cohuna LLEN), Naomi Murray (operations manager Rich River Golf Club) and George Santos (sales and marketing manager Moama Bowling Club), were appointed for three-year terms, while Oliver Boyd (Elders), Scott Matthew (Visy) and Tim were re-appointed community board members.

Outgoing board members were Scott Spedding from Coolabah Turf, Dr Lees, and Dean Oberin from Oberin Hospitality, who was a founding board member. He was elected honorary board member on the night.

“Dean’s commitment and leadership have helped shape this organisation into what it is today,” Tim said. “Dean has been with us since our inception in 2011 and has dedicated himself wholeheartedly to the organisation and everything it stands for.”
