DARE TO

dream

Untitled design copy.png

Committee for Echuca Moama’s Dare to Dream project saw five young women from across the district come together to produce a video telling the story of their challenges, their hopes and their dreams for the future.

Dare to Dream was a partnership between C4EM, Campaspe Shire Council, Murray River Councill, Campaspe Cohuna LLEN, Moama Bowling Club and J2 Creations.

The eight-week program was run in 2021 with the aid of a $1500 grant. It saw Mathoura’s Dottie Wilson, Deniliquin’s Grace Andrews, Moama’s Tara Arlow, Strathallan’s Amanda Mitchell and Rochester’s Dimity Pearson create a video on issues close to their hearts – youth mental health, bullying, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander awareness and engagement.

Through the eyes of our future leaders, the video is a poignant and thought-provoking look at what challenges young people face today and how they believe current leaders can help drive change in our community.

The video was launched late last year. To view visit https://youtu.be/VjsOx7FAzsw
